Why Sweden and Bluechip events?
- Size: Our events/fairs are small. Maximum number of participating schools is either 7 or 11 depending on which event. This gives a lot of attention to each participating school from visiting students.
- Focus: Bluechip only works with the US institutions and is the most established and well known company for this in all of Scandinavia
- Experience: Bluechip have been working with the USA and organizing fairs for the past 29 years
- Student Quality: Students from Sweden are very mature and good students with a very high command of the English language
- Funding: Swedish students get loans and grants from the Government through the CSN for studying in the USA
TOUR SCHEDULE AT-A-GLANCE
4/18 Arrive Stockholm. Check into Clarion Sign Hotel. Meeting and debriefing at Clarion Sign Hotel at 7 pm with Bluechip staff . At this meeting we will review logistical details, information and the agenda for the upcoming weeks tour.
4/19 Stockholm High School visit and hotel evening Open House/Seminar
4/20 Stockholm/Uppsala High School visits
4/21 Travel to Gothenburg and check into Radisson Scandinavia Hotel. Gothenburg High School visit and hotel evening Open House/Seminar.
4/22 Gothenburg/Kungsbacka High School visits
4/23 Travel to Malmö/Lund and Malmö/Lund High School visits. Check into
Radisson Hotel Malmö
4/24 Depart from Malmö or Copenhagen to your next destination
Meeting and Debriefing
In Stockholm on April 11, 2021 at 7:00pm there will be a meeting at the Clarion SIgn Hotel. Please attend this meeting as you will be provided your welcome package, tickets, and important information regarding the fairs & tour.
Advertising and Promotion of the fair
4 advertisements will be placed in each local and district newspapers in Stockholm and Gothenburg informing and encouraging students and parents to come to the open house / mini fairs at the hotel.
Material and invitations will also be mailed to local and regional High Schools, Universities, unemployment agencies, Vocational Schools, and International Baccalaureate Schools. Social Media channels will also be targeted with appropriate invitations to a attend the Open House.
There is a non-refundable registration fee of $500.00 that will be invoiced upon receipt of the registration form. Registration is confirmed when the fee is paid.
The participation fee for each institution is $6,950 (Minimum of 5 High School visits and 2 hotel open house/seminars). This will be invoiced in February, 2021 and made payable no later than March 15, 2021. If registration is done after February 15, payment is due upon receipt of invoice.
The cost covers all logistics, venue hire, promotion, marketing, advertisements, invitations, technical equipment, and activities and all necessary organization prepared by Bluechip – Study USA.
Dates & Refund Policy
Registration is open until maximum number of participating institutions has been filled.
Should you need to cancel your participation, the following refund policy will apply:
* 60-75 days before exhibition: 50% refund on all fees, paid or due
* 45-59 days before exhibition: 25% refund on all fees, paid or due.
* < 45 days before exhibition: No refund
Accommodation & Travel Arrangements
Participants are strongly recommended to book the pre-arranged travel and accommodation package. This package includes hotels and breakfast as well as all domestic travel to and from high schools and hotels during the week. April 18-24/4 (6 nights).
All you need to do is to arrive in Stockholm on April 18 and depart from Malmö or Copenhagen on April 24, 2021.

The total cost for 6 nights accommodation including breakfast and all travel between cities is $1,995 per person (Standard Room), which is corporate rate. If you wish to add the travel and accommodation package the fee will be added to your invoice.
Please note that Bluechip has made arrangements for 10 rooms and travel seats only. The fair is limited to only 10 institutions.
You will receive further information regarding room reservation and addresses once your registration is processed. This will be sent out approx four weeks prior to the start of the tour. Please select on the registration form. If two or more representatives sign up from the same institution, please note that the participation fee remains the same although the travel accommodation package is priced per person.
Detailed information will be sent to registered institutions regarding travel, material, hotel, logistsics, etc approx four weeks prior to the start of the tour. We hope to see all of you in April for another great tour.
